Valentine Dinner Part 2

Why did I set my table like this for Valentine's Day? Because it was Valentine's Day and I wanted my family to know they are special to me and paper plates don't always scream love!  We turned the lights out and sat together and listened to the Glee soundtrack and shared some special laughs. My gift to my family was baking brownie cupcakes and homemade Pioneer Woman cookies. 

All families deserve a "fancy" way to say Mama loves them.

My 2 Do List This Week

I love lists. I need them, I want them, I make them in my sleep.  Do I always follow them, no? But who cares!  Its a start and starting is good.  Here's my list this week.

• Wash two loads of laundry a day
• Kitchen deep clean
• Den deep clean
• Bathroom deep clean
• Cash's room (30 minutes of organizing)
• Master bedroom (30 minutes of pickup and dusting)
• Office (60 minutes of organizing, throwing out papers)
• Put away all the clean folded clothes

I will post the final Valentines Night Dinner Table for you tomorrow!  I took so many darn pics because as the afternoon went on I walked around the house and kept adding new things to the table.  Ha!  yes, I bought and arranged those simple little vases.  No, I will not do some for you!

Holy Moly I LOVE Ree's new book.  Its her love story and I enjoy it because it brings me back to my love story with my man.  Sometimes I think I should start writing my story and maybe one day someone may want to listen.  Who knows!

Its a MUST read!  I am knee deep in their courtship and its so yummy!

As I sit here, hunkered down in South Texas due to the ice and cold I have surfed the web and found some GORGEOUS things I Heart from White House Black Market.

A Girl Can Dream!

And if I renew my vows one day it will be in one of Vera Wangs new Black and White Collection Wedding Dresses.

P.S. My 12 year old daughter wants a black and white wedding like ours was back in 1997.
